But when you're working with the wonderful stones we are -- like the gorgeous, bright, beautiful natural blue chalcedony in this Chalcedony Cuff Bracelet -- you don't need much embellishment besides the stone. Here we've used a low-dome half-round wire and two sterling silver bead embellishments to flank this 8X10mm Natural Chalcedony rectangle. Wear alone or stack 'em up! All traditional silversmithing is done in my Baltimore, MD studio.

Chalcedony is known as the Speaker's Stone, the stone of one who must measure his words. It encourages reflection and meditation, its gentle radiance preparing us for action but helping to hold back words we might regret.
