Inner Child Therapy or Come to my shop!

Getting ready to open the new shop - Workshop by LBJ - and I'm planning the workshops we will offer. I cannot wait to share the gift of making things.

Not everyone gets to surround themselves with colorful beads and craft materials in their real jobs. I want to share the gift of an inviting, creative space to be innovative in and flex your crafty muscle. The gift of making beautiful things you can wear and of learning creative skills that will last a lifetime!

When I unpacked these bead looms I felt a jolt of excitement like I was 10 years old. That's probably the age I was when I had a bead loom. Oh it was my favorite thing. Where to begin? What to make? I could spend hours and hours. So much potential that the possibilities seem infinite.

Looking at the loom and the beads brought me back to my childhood. Seeing them reminded me of the hope there is in beginning a project. 

Maybe its the infinite possibilities or the hope of a new project. Or maybe its just something we can actually learn and control and reap the rewards of quickly, in something beautiful that we can wear. Honestly, I don't care what it is. I just know it's good for the heart and soul! And brain!

It may be inner child therapy, OR it may just be regular old fun!

I am the type of person who sees an interestingly created design and wants to figure out how it was made, recreate it and improve upon it. Are you?

 

I feel so lucky, and I can't wait to share. I wish I could give you specifics, but, I promise, SOON! And we will hit the ground running! Are there any workshops you would like to see? If so mention them in the comments below. Thanks.
