Turquoise and Lapis Ring. Beautiful, soft greenish blue in this old stock turquoise (8X10mm oval) is just dreamy when flanked with beautiful, 4mm Lapis on either side. This ring is fun alone or stacked into a handful of rings. This tri-stone ring featuring turquoise and lapis lazuli has an old, traditional feeling while being a very modern silversmith ring. All traditional silversmithing techniques are done in my Kensington, MD studio.

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth. Its unique shade of blue, often blue-green, lends it name, Turquoise, to all things of this tranquil hue. The delicate veining or mottled webbing in cream or brown is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance its character.
Lapis Lazuli is one of the most sought after stones in use since man's history began. It's deep, celestial blue remains the symbol of royalty and honor, gods and power, spirit and vision. It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth.
At Linda Blackbourn Jewelry, I've tried my best to describe everything as accurately as possible -- in words and photos. Gemstones vary, of course, as do computer monitor screens, so there may be minor discrepancies.
