Royston Ribbon Turquoise Bolo - Turquoise Mock Bolo - .925 Sterling Silver - Turquoise Bolo - OOAK

This design is a success in so many ways. We love the traditional western bolo tie, but we wanted a more feminine version of it. We've used traditional southwestern silversmithing using .925 twist wire accents -- oxidized, sanded and polished. This necklace closes in the back with a clasp like any necklace and uses an ultra-comfortable .925 Sterling Silver rope chain -- the Turquoise "tips" are an added bonus, and really add a lot. An LBJ original!

The Mock Bolo features a .925 Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp and closes anywhere between 14 and 20 inches.

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth. Its unique shade of blue, often blue-green, lends its name, Turquoise, to all things of this tranquil hue. The delicate veining or mottled webbing in cream or brown is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance its character.

At Linda Blackbourn Jewelry, I've tried my best to describe everything as accurately as possible -- in words and photos. Gemstones vary, of course, as do computer monitor screens, so there may be minor discrepancies.
