Stunning, Cornflower Blue Star Sapphire Ring

Star Sapphires are amazing! When light reflects from the sapphire, a luminous, 6-point star-like pattern appears on its surface - caused by a specific arrangement of naturally occurring rutiles in the natural stone. Star sapphires are relatively rare occurring in approximately three percent of all raw sapphires.

We've used an east-west oval orientation and a lovely, solid gold twist wire shank and accent beads to set off these cornflower blue star sapphires to the fullest, while retaining a dainty, unusual ring with some mystique.
