Two, graduated .925 Sterling Silver twist wires embellish the Blue Lapis Lazuli stones and are a great western jewelry accent when oxidized. We call this design our Western Post Earrings -- they are available in the shop in many stones. Just a perfect little design ... why not spread the love? Lapiz Lazuli is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth. In ancient times Lapis Lazuli was most highly regarded because of its beautiful color and the valuable ultramarine dye derived from it. Its name comes from the Latin lapis, "stone," and the Persian lazhuward, "blue." It is rock formed by multiple minerals, mostly Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite and Pyrite, and is a rich medium to royal blue with gold flecks (pyrites). Lower-grade Lapis is lighter blue with more white than gold flecks, and is sometimes called denim Lapis.

All jewelry is handcrafted using natural gemstones which may vary very slightly piece to piece. There may be a slight variation due to computer screens as well but the best intention to depict accuracy has been used.

At Linda Blackbourn Jewelry, I've tried my best to describe everything as accurately as possible -- in words and photos. Gemstones vary, of course, as do computer monitor screens, so there may be minor discrepancies.
